Hey, Stephen I bought the same exact computer with all the same parts and its pretty pricy ($1,439.93) and its great! thanks for making the video

note im 13 and I built it myself

  2. Rrayiijr:

Does any ram work for any proccesor?

  3. samus1995able:

you dont need 16gb ram to anything :DD

  4. idontknowagoodusrnam:

Why was Mal a robot in the Art School opening?

  5. ZeldaFanGirl87:

Yay The Art School!!! So happy!

  6. John Anthony Kazos Jr.:

That works great until the day you forget to have the case plugged in while you’re working on it. I remember the day I was trying to reseat a card while the computer was on, and I dropped a screwdriver on the motherboard and caused a kernel panic.

Than buying a Mac Pro? Technically «infinitely» cheaper, since Apple doesn’t even sell this hardware. They may offer it in the future, but for now it’s impossible. I’m sure I probably saved several thousand, though.

  8. stephenvlog:

Newegg is sort of *the* site to order your parts from. They also run a really great YouTube channel that helps explain new parts and even have a series of videos on how to build. Google «Newegg how to build a computer» for the video.

  9. stephenvlog:

The entire build was roughly $1350 or so.

  10. stephenvlog:

I’ve heard of it but I’ve never seen any episodes. I’m familiar with it, though.

I recently bought an LG blu-ray burner for about $70 on Newegg. If you don’t need blu-ray, DVD drives should only run you about $20 or less. Just buy whatever has the highest review score, they’re all practically the same.

As for Windows 7, I don’t see a need of anything past the cheapest version.

  12. stephenvlog:

The manual? It comes with the motherboard.

  13. stephenvlog:

Because you «hack» OS X (the Macintosh operating system) onto «PC parts».
