Me too. I bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 with the Wacom pen and I really like using it with Sketchbook Pro, the pen works fluidly and easily, but I’m a tad disappointed that there isn’t more variety in art apps on the Android market yet. If you use Sketchbook and you like that program (which I do), then the Note is a good choice IMO, but I like to use a variety of programs too, so I hope they develop more in the future.

I’m considering getting an iPad just for this.

It’s crazy how people spend a lot of money buying the Ipad, yet the majority are not aware of what the Ipad is acyually capable of doing plus it doesn’t come with a manual.
Check out my channel for lessons on how to get the most out of you Ipad.

How long did this take to draw?

I do a lot of photoshop painting from home and the procreate stuff on the train to/from school. Either painting directly in colour or for concept stuff i do grey scale paints and use overlays for colour.
Procreate is really powerful for all of this stuff, plus being able to export as a PSD and keep working from home is the best thing ever.

i just tool around with layer properties and for this piece i kept merging down the layers to a solid layer and just kept painting over the top. Not sure really, it’s different every time.
i’m more than happy to just start working and follow the picture. If there is something VERY specific, then I will pick a palette first and go from there.
